The product, in the report: The Dashing Diva LED nail curing lamp is used to cure gel nail polish and gel nail strips. The product is pink and approximately 4.5 inches across, 3 inches wide, and 3 inches tall. It has 6 LED lights and operates on a micro USB to USB cable.
I was using the Dashing Diva LED nail curing lamp to cure my gel nail polish. The product was plugged into a normal cellphone/usb charging block, with a surge-protected extension cord. I used the cord provided with the product. After approximately 10 times of turning the product on to cure my nails with 30-45 second or longer breaks in between to apply more polish, the unit began smoking and melting around the light area. The product was also hot to the touch during use, hot enough to cause burns.
