The product, in the report: Light up wristbands marketed for visibility and safety to sports enthusiasts and kids. https://www.4id.com/product/slap-wrapz/
I was wearing my light up slap band by 4ID and it cut my wrist. When I removed the product, I saw there was an exposed metal band that made the product retract to a bracelet that was exposed. The edge was a sharp as a knife blade all the way around and had cut through the outer fabric to slice my arm. I was alarmed I’d given these to my kids too. I had no idea the inside consisted of raw metal that was sharp enough to slice wrists around which they went. There is a hole for a keyring on the band and I’d had my keys on the ring around my wrist. The weight of the keys must have caused the sharp metal to slice through the fabric. I suspect it would do the same thing after repeated use without the keys. There should not be a keyring hold on this, but more importantly, there should not be raw metal inside the band with horribly sharp edges. This is an unsafe product, especially for kids. I’m including pictures with my report.
