  1. Emergency room

Made Jul 13, 2025, sent to the company Jul 16, 2025, published by CPSC Jul 30, 2025

The product, in the report: A pair of full-finger motorcycle gloves purchased through Temu. Color: Black/Brown. Labeled as summer breathable motorcycle gloves with touchscreen-compatible fingertips. The gloves were marketed as unisex protective riding gear for motorcycles and bicycles. No adequate padding was provided in the palm area, which led to injury during use.

I purchased MJMOTO full-finger motorcycle gloves via Temu on March 30, 2025. During a certified long-distance motorcycle ride on April 18, 2025, I developed a painful blister on my right palm due to the gloves inadequate padding and poor construction. The gloves were marketed as protective motorcycle gear and were used exactly as intended worn during a long-distance ride on a [REDACTED]. However, they appeared to be inappropriately manufactured and not designed in line with common safety and durability standards expected of motorcycle gear. Injury: The low-quality palm material led to repeated friction and pressure during regular use, resulting in a painful blister that required medical attention. I incurred out-of-pocket medical expenses (CA$62.16) and wage loss from three missed workdays (CA$666.00). I contacted the seller (Temu) and submitted all requested evidence, but no meaningful resolution has been provided.
