The product, in the report: Amazon description: Toys for 8-12 Years Old Kids Flashing Light Up Colorful Rainbow LED Gloves Cool Toys for Boys Girls Glow Party Favors Christmas Birthday Gifts Toys for 8-10 Costume Cosplay Stocking Stuffers Medium These are a pair of lightup LED gloves for kids powered by lithium metal coin cell batteries.
I ordered a stocking stuffer for my toddler that was a pair of lightup gloves. The gloves included preinstalled lithium metal coin cell batteries as well as a multipack of replacement lithium metal coin cell batteries. The outside of the box states: NOTE: Lithium batteries are harmless to human body. This is a very concerning statement since it is both untrue and on a children’s product. I have made sure the batteries are not accessible to my child, but I am concerned for other families who may have purchased this item and are not fully aware of the dangers posed by lithium batteries--particularly if they have little ones that might try to swallow them.
