The product, in the report: Light up hair bow purchased on Amazon.com manufactured by JEAIRTS
Product: Light-up bow purchased through Amazon.com Amazon product link: https://a.co/d/00yBDTu9 Incident date: 10/10/2026 Injury: None reported
Incident description:
I am reporting a potential safety hazard involving a light-up bow purchased on Amazon.com for my daughter. The bow uses replaceable button/coin batteries. During use, the product suddenly burst apart or made a loud popping sound.
No one was injured, and no property damage has been identified. However, the unexpected event raises concerns about the products safety, including the possibility of a battery-related malfunction, component failure, or another hazard that could cause burns, eye injuries, or other harm, particularly to a child.
I am requesting that this incident be documented and reviewed to determine whether the product presents a safety risk to consumers. I can provide photographs of the product and its damage, the Amazon order information, packaging, and other identifying details if needed.
Please investigate this potential product safety issue.
