The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Graphene (RTAX-018A) Women Heated Jacket 12V Fast Charge 18400mAh Large Capacity sold by Genovega through Amazon. Size: X-L, Color: Wine Red

Graphene Women Heated Jacket 2V Fast Charge 18400mAh Large Capacity, purchased from the Genovega Store on Amazon.

I purchased this heated jacket in December 2025 to support with being able to go outside in colder weather due to a health issue. The jacket seemed to work well at first (although it did not heat all the areas of the jacket as claimed in the advertising). The last several times I have worn the jacket, I receive on-going “mini” electrical shocks from inside the jacket. This happens every 3-30 seconds. Some of the shocks are irritating (a little stronger than static shocks), but some are strong enough to cause mild pain. I have tried problem-solving based on manufacturer recommendations and double-checked any potential user error on my part. I have contacted the company to request a replacement or a refund. I will share an updated report if the second jacket has the same issue.
