  1. No one hurt

Made Feb 27, 2024, sent to the company Mar 12, 2024, published by CPSC Mar 26, 2024

The product, in the report: Baby boys’ 2 pack short sleeve romper toddler cartoon onesie, one orange color an the second one white ad blue color, size 6-9 months

I am writing to you as a consumer to express my deep concern regarding an issue related to a baby product that I have recently experienced. I purchased a baby onesie from the brand RELABTABY-YFYBaby which features black snap fasteners. Unfortunately, after the first wash, the black color on the snap fasteners completely peeled off, which has led me to suspect that they may contain lead or other hazardous substances. Furthermore, the residual odor left by the snap fasteners after the paint peeled off is unpleasant and has raised even more concerns about the safety of the product. Given the potential health risk to infants and young children, I respectfully request that your department thoroughly investigate this matter. Attached to this letter, you will find relevant evidence, including photographs of the peeled snap fasteners and any other pertinent documentation. I understand that the safety of baby products is a priority concern for your department, and I trust that you will take appropriate action to address this issue promptly. Please keep me informed of any developments in this investigation. I am available to provide any additional information that may be necessary to carry out this investigation effectively. I tried to contact them to find out if they have CPC or any proof that their brooches are lead free but I was unable to find out.
