The product, in the report: Lands End Women’s Starfish High Rise Knit Denim Straight Jeans. Item# 535580-AK0. Size: L Color: Medium Sea Blue
Strong chemical odor from a pain of new Lands Ends jeans. It made me ill. I washed them. Odor persisted. Was really strong, so strong I had to hang them in my garage because having them in the house made me ill. At one point I was light headed and experienced a loss of balance. Fortunately, I was able to keep from falling. Others have complained in reviews about the odor but I had not seen them before buying. Lands End says it is just a byproduct of manufacturing, but I question if that byproduct is safe. They never indicated that it was nontoxic, only that it was a byproduct of manufacturing. Is this product safe to be around and inhale that strong chemical? What is that chemical?
