Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 2, 2017, sent to the company Jan 13, 2017, published by CPSC Jan 31, 2017

The product, in the report: It’s a newborn baby girls dress. It is pink with gold dots and has a decorative tule tutu. It says “Love Me” in cursive on the front. The “O” in love is a heart. I have pictures but your website gives me an error when trying to upload.

Our 4 day old baby girl was wearing a dress from Babies R Us that is manufactured by Koala Baby. The dress has decorative tule that unraveled and got tangled up in our newborn’s fingers. She started crying very loudly and when I realised why I saw her fingers were very white (the rest of her skin was red from crying. The blood flow to her fingers were cutoff and luckily we were able to get her fingers untangled before any permanent damage happened. She could have lost a finger.

The product, in the report: Infant romper

The Koala Baby Children’s Romper from Toys R Us in 18month has a defective snap. It is the third snap from the top and was not attached properly. You cannot snap this snap closed because of the defect. This presents a choking hazard as pieces start to come off as it is worn and washed. The RN# on the tag is 67391.

The product, in the report: Blue, tanktop onsie w/ pattern on front from babies r us, Made by koala baby rn 67391, 3-6m, 100%cotton, made in china

Koala baby outfit from babies r us. I washed the outfit per the instructions before I put it on my son. Later in the day I noticed black stuff on his tongue and realized the decorative emblem on the front of the onsie had began to peel off and had gotten onto his hands and then into his mouth. Large chunks of the rubber textured decoration were peeling off the outfit.
