Thankfully I found her chewing on the broken zipper and no injuries took place.

The product, in the report: Solid white onesie bodysuits. Printed on the inside neck of the bodysuit is, “carter’s 18 months Made in Cambodia”..

CHOCKING HAZARD This is NOT part of the “Carter’s Watch and Wear” recall. Onesie bodysuits are “carter’s 18 months Made in Cambodia” solid white.

SNAP FASTENERS on TWO separate onesie bodysuits failed by pulling apart during unsnapping. On one occasion the failure wasn’t discovered until the pronged part was found loose near the infant. On the other occasion (on a an identical but separate onesie) the snap fastener pulled apart but the pronged side hadn’t fallen out yet.

The pronged side of the snap fastener is 1/4 inch in diameter, small enough to be swallowed by an infant. Printed on the inside of the neck for both onesies are: “carter’s 18 months Made in Cambodia”.

The product, in the report: Hot Pink Dress, gold buttons

My 19 month old daughter was wearing a hot pink Carter’s dress, size 2T. It has large round gold buttons down the front and on the shoulders. She wore it to school. When I picked her up from school today, one of the buttons from the dress was in her backpack in a sandwich bag. She somehow got the button (which is quite large) off the dress and tried to eat it. I’m very concerned and disappointed that Carter’s would sell a dress with such large buttons that can come off so easily. I never would have thought that a Carter’s clothing product could endanger my child. The RN number is 92222 and the REF number is 3759.

The product, in the report: Infant clothing. Carter’s bodysuits

We have been dressing our 6-month-old twins almost exclusively in Carter’s bodysuits during the day. Some of the bodysuits have embroidered designs with a backing material on the inside to keep the embroidery thread from chafing. The backing material has started to come off of the bodysuits after less than 2 months of use. I didn’t realize this, and when I dressed my daughter in her sleeper earlier this week the backing material had come off entirely and must have attached itself to her sleeper (static cling from the dryer).

I didn’t notice this had happened until I went to check on her at 1:00 a.m. when I found the piece of backing material IN HER MOUTH.

Luckily she didn’t try to swallow it. This was a about a 2” x 3” piece of material - definitely a choking hazard.

They need to figure out a way to make the material adhere better to the bodysuits so this doesn’t happen.

The product, in the report: one-piece baby bodysuit, carter’s,watch the wear,RN92222

I am a grandmother of a four month old little girl. I recieved a package of one-piece baby bodysuits for her as a gift. I think they were purchased at Wal-mart. I was alarmed to see that on every shirt the plastic snaps in the crotch area easily popped off. My granddaughter could have grasped one of these plastic disc and put it in her mouth. An older child might put it up their nose, or in their ear. The label on the inside of the shirt is as follows: Carter’s, watch the wear, size, 100% cotton, made in Bangladesh, washing instructions,RN92222. Please, someone look at this product more carefully! I would like to recieve a response as well, as to what can be done or being done. Thank-you, [REDACTED]
