The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Sports Bra

The consumer indicates that she used her sports bra for approximately four hours to do yardwork and then showered. At night time, the consumer felt a pimple and, the next day, a rash all over the skin her sports bra covered. The consumer visited her Dermatologist and was informed that it was an allergic reaction to the chemicals used in her sports bra as, had it been a heat reaction, the rash would be blotchy instead of covering the entire shape of the bra; the consumer was prescribed topical steroid.

The consumer contacted the Manufacturer but has yet to hear back from them. The consumer notes that the sports bra was not washed prior to use however that the label does not indicate this needs to be done.

The consumer plans on keeping the sports bra for at least the next thirty days in case an investigation ensues.
