As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 18, 2014, sent to the company Jun 26, 2014, published by CPSC Jul 11, 2014

The product, in the report: A one piece zip up pajama that has a snap at the top to cover the zipper. Size 9-12 months

I purchased a pair of pajamas from The Children’s Place for my 10 month old daughter. I washed them per the instructions prior to use. Tonight was the first time I put them on her. I put them on her and moved to change my son. She screeched and when I looked at her, she had the button/snap in her mouth on her tongue and came very close to but obviously did not swallow it. I inspected her mouth for any cuts or lesions and she is ok. Had she swallowed this piece, serious injury could have occurred. I have pictures of the pajamas.

The product, in the report: 6-9 Footed Fleece pajama with zipper

I own a Children’s Place Footed Pajama with a zipper. I put my 8 month old son in the size 6-9 Month Children’s Place pajama and put him to bed. In the morning, I went into his room and he was lying on his back in his crib playing with the zipper which had come off the pajamas. This could’ve been a choking hazard!
