The product, in the report: children sleepwear sold by Amazon
The submitter is reporting some of the children sleepwear that is sold on the retailer’s site for not complying with CPSC flammability standards. She reviewed the CPSC children sleepwear flammability requirements and noticed some of the items did not comply. Specifically she noticed a loose fitting girls night gown that was not flame resistant and it was intended for girls 4 to 8 years old.
She contacted the retailer today and spoke with [REDACTED], a supervisor. She reported her concerns and advised them that she would also contact CPSC so they could investigate.
She indicated that she has not purchased any sleepwear from the retailer but while she was on their site she noticed there were multiple items that did not appear to comply with CPSC children sleepwear flammability requirements and she would like for CPSC to investigate the matter.
