The product, in the report: Product Description: 3 Pack: Mens Pajama Pants – Mens Fleece Plaid Lounge Pajama Bottoms(Available in Big & Tall) on the amazon Amazon website at this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QPVQVD6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. This is apparently the “Real Essentials Store” on Amazon.com.
I bought pajama pants from a seller on the amazon Amazon website at this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QPVQVD6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. This is apparently the “Real Essentials Store” on Amazon.com. When I received the pajama pants I immediately noticed there was a strong chemical odor from them. I describe it as smelling like gasoline or a petroleum based oil of some type. The pants have a oily substance in them that immediately is transferred to my hands. This substance causes immediate irritation to my hands by making my fingers swell and turn red, and subsequently there is an oil feel that remains all over my hands after handling them. The substance seems to be concentrated in the waist band area, but the entire pants are full of this substance, which makes them feel soft to the touch, but actually is an oil of some type. I washed the pants 3 times and the substance remains in the pants. All 3 pants have the same substance in them. I am concerned that I have been exposed to some toxic chemical. These were the cheapest option I could find for pajama pants at the time on Amazon. I will probably refrain from purchasing many products from there in the future. I am concerned that these pants are toxic and could have damaged my health and the health of other people. I would like to have them sent somewhere for analysis of toxic chemicals.
