The product, in the report: From label: Product of Turkey 100% Turkish Cotton Bath Robe Rn# 93677 Supplier Number 765875 Factory#F22932 - #740 07/21 JPC.Com Made in Turkey
I was wearing a Turkish Cotton robe this morning while making breakfast. I have a gas stove with a special hot burner in front. I was boiling water. My robe sleeve caught fire. I quickly patted the fire out. I then realized the belt was on fire. I patted it out. My wife then saw that the lower back of my robe was on fire. I threw it on the floor with the fire against the floor and pressed it to the floor putting out the fire. It seems to me that the fire flashed from one area to the next in an extraordinary manner.
The robe is dark blue. The burn areas are now brown.
I don’t think I actually touched the flame. I suppose I got close to the hot gasses. There were no injuries.
The robe came from JCPenney.Shipped 1/1/2022 after a delay since it was out of stock until then. Loom + Forge Turkish Cotton Long Sleeve Terry Cloth Robe, Signature Navy color.
