The product, in the report: The product is described on Kyte Baby’s website as “Slumber Suit is a full-body sleep experience that keeps your little one truly as snug as a bug. Soft, stretchy bamboo rayon in 1.0 TOG is perfect for year-round comfort and warmth, while the breathable material also protects against overheating.” This product is designed to be similar to a wearable blanket for infants. The product is in the color ‘sage’ which is a pale grey-green. The materials are 97% Bamboo Rayon, 3% Spandex, it has wrist and ankle cuffs, snap closures at the bottom for easy diaper changes and double zipper for quick access. This product is in size Large, the dimensions are to fit a 28-42lb. infant. TOG is a rating system that measures warmth and calculates how quickly a fabric uses heat. This suit was 1.0 tog suited for 69-73 degrees Fahrenheit.

I put my 10 month old to sleep in a Kyte Baby Slumber Suit 1.0 tog. When I went to get her up, both zippers on the suit were detached from the suit and loose in her crib creating a major choking hazard. The incident was a result of a design flaw in the sleep suit, which allowed these two small pieces to detach and become a potential choking hazard for my child. Fortunately, we were able to react quickly and prevent any serious harm, but the experience was deeply distressing for both my baby and our entire family.
