The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. First aid

Made May 29, 2018, sent to the company Aug 17, 2018, published by CPSC Aug 31, 2018

The product, in the report: one piece baby pajamas (came with a box set of clothing)

The consumer placed her daughter in pajamas and when she picked up the child, the consumer sustained a cut across her chest (approx. 2” - 3” long). The consumer found that there was a sewing needle in the sleeve of the pajamas. The consumer plans to treat her injury at home.

This was the 2nd night that the daughter wore the pajamas. The consumer noticed a small cut on her daughter’s chest 2 days ago and does not know if the injury came from the needle or something else.

The pajamas came in a gift-box, with approximately 7 other pieces. The consumer has not checked the other pieces, but will examine them.

5/29/2018: The consumer called the mfr’s Customer Service Dept. (Tel: 866-999-5283) and asked for a Supervisor. She was able to speak with a Supervisor (name unavailable). The consumer said that she was told since the product was not purchased directly from them, they could not help her. However, she did refer the consumer to their Client Relations Dept. (Tel: 800-519-3778) and attempted to transfer her. No one picked up the phone, but the Supervisor told the consumer that she would leave a message for that department and ask someone to give her a call back. Nobody ever contacted.

The consumer believes that this could have presented several potential hazards.
