The product, in the report: Vivitar 24 led light up tri fold mirror, made in China, item # mr-1305 WHT
I purchased a Vivitar LED light up trifold mirror about one week ago. I installed the batteries and operated it without incident one time last week. Today as I opened the trifold (second use of the mirror) a piece of glass fell onto the top of my foot from the mirror. It cut my foot. There is also a bruise beginning to form. It is obvious that the glue used to attach the mirror glass onto the plastic base is insufficient. The glass could seriously injure someone and cut ligaments or tendons. It fell from the base while being used correctly, I simply opened the trifold and it slid out. Purchased at tj maxx, brand vivitar. Item number: MR-1305 WHT, made in China, MID # 4651118.
