The product, in the report: Modern Lit Tabletop Mirror
I purchased a Modern Lit Tabletop Mirror from Restoration Hardware in Troy, Michigan years ago. Although I’ve enjoyed the mirror, I had a horrible experience related to it yesterday.
While I was standing near the mirror, that was not turned on but was plugged in to electricity, I all of a sudden heard a sizzle and then smelled something burning. When I looked at the mirror, I noticed that the cord that attaches to the mirror itself was on fire. There was about a 1 inch flame coming out of it. I was able to extinguish the flame by pouring water on it. However, I am very concerned that others who purchased this mirror might have similar problems.
I am thankful that I coincidentally happened to be in the room when this caught on fire. Surely this could have been a major hazard otherwise.
