The product, in the report: The product is a black brief case with a handle on top and shoulder strap. The shoulder strap has a metal hook on either end which connects to metal hole on the side of the bag.
I purchased a brief case from Kenneth Cole in November 2011 (Model No. 52205). After purchasing the bag, I noticed when using the bag’s shoulder strap, the metal hooks at the end of the shoulder strap would ocassionally come unhooked from the metal holes on the side of the bag. This would almost always happen after the shoulder strap had some slack in it, and would happen when the shoulder strap was being used and supporting the full weight of the bag, so that when the strap did come uhnooked, the bag would fall to the ground, and the shoulder strap would whip backwards frequently narrowly missing my face.
On October 18, 2011, I was carrying the bag using the shoulder strap, and the strap came unhooked as had happened before, however, this time, the strap hit me in the eye. I sustained a black eye and nearly avoided a more serious injury to the eye itself.
