The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: T-Mobile kids sync up watches. White watches with blue and orange wrist straps. I believe the watches can also be bought in black color. They are kids gps smart watches, that have location tracking and limited phone and texting to a specific lists of contacts. They are sold as devices to know where your kids are when away from home. specifically these are made for young children from 5-12 years old.

We have 2 T-Mobile kids sync up watches and both are about a year and half old. (Still making payments for them to T-Mobile.) Both watches’ batteries expanded so much they cracked the back of the watches apart from the front. Now the batteries are ballooned and the inside of the watches are exposed to the environment. Since these watches are made and sold for kids, they need to recall these and place a limit on the charge so the batteries will not explode. If I had not seen these my kids could have put them on and washed their hands leading to a serious issues.
