The product, in the report: Gabb Watch
We purchased a Gabb phone and a Gabb watch for two of our kids. These devises limit what internet they have access to which is fantastic. The phone works great. The watch has had several issues. We have had many conversations with the company, but their only solution is to buy a new model of the watch.
The two issues we have seen are: 1) the watch will randomly dial people without being touched. Most of the time, this would happen when my son was in school, but I did witness it a few times when he was at home as well. The watch does limit him to only be able to call a few people, but it was too much for those of us on the approved list 2) The watch has GPS built into it so that a parent could see where their child is. We had a few instances where the app was telling us that our son was moving down the highway miles from school. I would have to call the school and ask them to confirm that our son was in class before calling the police to report a potential kidnapping. Again, the only solution from Gabb was to buy a new watch.
