The product, in the report: Frozen Children’s Watch made for and sold by Walmart SKU# 552902436 MFG#FNFKD022FLH14

We purchased a child’s “Frozen” wristwatch at Walmart in Faribault, MN, on Saturday, November 15th. We gave it to our 3 year old child on Sunday, November 16th. The packaging stated that it was for ages 3 and up. She is infatuated with the “Frozen” movie, and had wanted a watch since her older sister had received one. She wore the watch all day Sunday, Monday, and removed it to take a bath on Monday night. She wore the watch all day on Tuesday, November 18th, and also slept with the watch on her wrist. While en route to preschool on the morning of Wednesday, November 19th, she began complaining repeatedly that her wrist hurt. I told her we would look at her wrist once we arrived at school. Once we removed our coats at her school, I asked her to place her wrists side by side to see if there was swelling on the wrist that she was complaining about. The wrist was indeed swollen, and the watch was now tight. I removed her watch, only to discover a sever chemical burn underneath the face of the watch. The back of the watch was missing. We immediately went straight to our medical clinic and saw a family physician, who treated her for the burn and provided a prescription ointment and bandages. We are completely unaware of when the back of the watch could have come off. We reported the injury to Walmart, but they will not pursue any claim against the manufacturer (MZ Berger) or a recall because we disposed of the defective watch. We believe this product is not safe for anyone, especially children.

I did not know about the recall on the light up Disney watch which I bought at Disneyland. My son fell asleep for a nap with the watch on and it burnt his skin and created a crater of a black hole in his skin!!!
