The product, in the report: Watch
Caller’s wife purchased a watch for him which he wore at least three weeks and only removed it when showering. After a shower on January 8th, 2014 he saw a watch shaped red patch on his wrist. It was mottled pink to red with shiny waxy like areas. The caller believes that it looks like a radiation burn. After a week of not wearing the watch and using skin care lotion to keep it moist, the burn is mostly gone. He said the watch is supposed to be stainless steal, so a chemical reaction is unlikely. He still has the watch but of course does not wear it. There are no injuries to report He has not contacted the manufacturer and does not intend to contact them Caller is a veteran of Vietnam, has Leukemia stemming from situation during that war and would just like to know how he could develop this rash from this particular watch, could someone test it. He would like to avoid anyone developing any type of health issues from it.
