The product, in the report: Way To Celebrate Multicolor Glow Bracelets, 50 count. Each glow bracelet is approximately 8 inches long. The package contains multiple colors, including pink, blue, green, yellow, and orange. The product is designed to be bent to activate the glow and then connected into a bracelet using the included connectors. It was purchased from Walmart.
My child was using an 8-inch Way To Celebrate glow bracelet purchased from Walmart. He was bending the glow stick to activate it, following the instructions on the package. While he was bending it for the initial activation, the outer plastic tube unexpectedly ruptured and the liquid inside splashed onto his face, mainly the area just below his nose. Immediately after the liquid contacted his skin, my child complained that the area below his nose was stinging and felt irritated. I washed the affected area thoroughly with water right away. He did not cut, puncture, or intentionally damage the plastic tube. The package instructions specifically direct the user to bend entire length of light stick to activate it. The package also states that the product contains thin glass inside the plastic tube. I am reporting this incident because the outer plastic tube broke during normal, intended use, causing the chemical contents to come into contact with my child’s face and cause a stinging sensation. I am concerned that this product could pose a safety risk if the plastic tube can rupture while being activated as directed.

The product, in the report: White ghost dangle earrings with half gold hoops.
Earring got stuck in earlobe after part of the earring post broke and lifted after normal wear. This resulted in an ER visit to remove the earring. Doctor described the situation as similar to a fishing hook getting stuck in some part of the body.
