The product, in the report: Material: Sterling Silver Closure Style: Safety Backs Care and Cleaning: Wipe Clean With a Dry Cloth Overall Dimensions: 1.0 “ L x 1.0 “ W

Bought these earrings for my 6 year old for Christmas. http://www.target.com/p/sterling-silver-stud-earring-set/-/A-14210097#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink

I put them on her and made sure they were in loose. Mine came with safety backs. 24 hours later i noticed the rainbows had bent and were embedded in her ear lobes. she said they hurt but she didnt want them out bc they were pretty. We took them out and both lobes are sliced open and bleeding:( Totally unacceptable for kids earrings.
