Our 13-year-old daughter received clip on type earrings as a gift from her aunt. Our daughter had been wearing them regularly until on April 22nd when she complained to her mother that she could not remove them. The left earring had to be removed by cutting it off leaving a deep tissue injury to the ear lobe. The right earring when removed made a hole in the ear lobe approximately 0.4 x 0.6 CM in diameter.
