The product, in the report: Paparazzi jewelry is costume jewelry pieces Earrings, Necklaces, bracelets, stretchy elastic rings, gold silver gunmetal rose gold bronze

In wearing Paparazzi jewelry not knowing of the highly toxic lead and nickel levels I developed daily headaches and itchy red rashes on my neck. I wore this jewelry DAILY! Bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings. Now I am out the money for purchasing many many pieces from a consultant, unsafe toxic high metal levels of lead nickel cadmium arsenic, etc. The Paparazzi website stated lead and nickel free, which was recently removed?! The children’s jewelry (Starlit Shimmer) tested higher levels of toxic heavy metals.

The product, in the report: Silver necklace with large rhinestones. The necklace name is hypnotized. Its one of their blockbuster necklaces

I was a consumer of Paparazzi Accessories turned distributor. The main reason I was so excited about Paparazzi was because they claimed it was lead and nickel free. I would wear their necklaces, braclets, earrings and rings. I’ve got incredibly sensitive skin so i was excited about it.

I was using the products along with my family, friends and customers. I believed I was offering a safe product. After about six months in, I started noticing more and more customers coming to me saying the jewelry is causing reactions to their skin. The higher ups at Paparazzi has always told us it was reaction from ppl who have pH imbalance and it’s caused by sweat. Then I wore a necklace for an hour [REDACTED] live and I broke out to their necklace (see attached pic)

Then a group of ex distributors decided to test different Paparazzi items and the results were shocking. Not only did some pieces have lead and nickel but other toxic heavy metals.

Purchased plenty of Paparazzi jewelry over the course for approximately 2 years and would get this rash around my neck. I finally got tired of it and stopped buying like a year ago. And now found out that it contains nickel, etc when they told their consumers it didn’t. I still have quite few left as I don’t know if I can trash once it’s contains all this.

The product, in the report: he items I purchased from the Paparazzi accessories have ranged from Necklaces,Rings,Bracelets,Earrings, for both adults and children. Since then I have had several customers complain of rashes on their neck, fingers, wrists and arms. After doing my own research I found out there are many other consultants like myself with the same issues. There are hundreds of tests made by many other consultants who purchased from the Paparazzi accessories which exposed most pieces of Jewelry which were supposed to be lead and nickel free. Did in fact test positive for both lead and nickel, as you can imagine I was very concerned.

RE: Paparazzi Accessories LLC 855-697-2727 support@paparazziaccessories.com

Dear to whom it may concern I am writing to report fraud on Paparazzi accessories, is known for having lead and nickel free products and this is a huge reason me and my customers were drawn to this company. However these claims are both false statements and false advertisement, which makes this company a complete scam.

The items I purchased from the Paparazzi accessories have ranged from Necklaces,Rings,Bracelets,Earrings, for both adults and children. It has been proven by an accredited lab that this jewelry is not lead and nickel free, it carries arsenic, lead, nickel and camidin, it has another metal also that is very harmful, for the general public it’s not so harmful as in small doses. For us consultants we handle, store large amounts in our homes, we then show it on our bodies, then sell it and ship it. Since this lab has proven these levels of metals, Paparazzi Accessories have taken this Lead and Nickel Free” off their website, after numerous requests to show their test results they have refused. I have spent $32.490.70. I have all my receipts. I believed in paparazzi accessories when their website said it was lead ,and nickel free please look into this scam. a payback of my $32.490.70 from this scam Best Regards, [REDACTED]

The product, in the report: Paparazzi Jewelry Llc Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and they have a kids line of jewelry called starlet shimmer.

I was a Paparazzi customer for about a year buying from one of their active consultants during a [REDACTED] live show. The jewelry was advertised as lead, nickel and cadmium free. I became friendly with the consultant and she asked me if I wanted to join Paparazzi as a consultant. She stated I could buy the jewelry wholesale for $2.75 apiece and earn 45% commission on each piece of jewelry. She explained that the start up kit was $99 and you would get 35 pieces, a replicated website and most of the tools you needed to start your own business. I paid the $99 and received my starter kit of 35 pieces . This consultant had put me in multiple [REDACTED] training groups to show me how to increase my sales. And all of Paparazzi‘s literature it stated that the jewelry was lead and nickel free and that is why I bought into this company. I was given a consultant number at [REDACTED] and I was able to buy individual pieces of jewelry for $2.75 apiece plus tax and a $5.95 shipping charge. I was a paparazzi consultant for over two years and I spent over $13,850. I have proof of my purchases through my bank account my credit card account, tax documents, order slips. I sold this jewelry on [REDACTED] lives, [REDACTED] messenger parties, private shows and vendor events. I advertised it to my customers as being lead and nickel free because that’s what Paparazzi told us consultants about the jewelry( o have documents and screen shots from their website). I had a few customers that complained of having a reaction to the jewelry, but I didn’t think much of it, I just thought they had very sensitive skin. In January of 2022  the jewelry  was submitted to an independent lab ([REDACTED]) by a group called “[REDACTED]” who was started by ex-consultants who were having unexplained health problems. The lab results came back that the jewelry had high concentrations of lead, nickel, cadmium & arsenic. I have copies of the lab reports on 10 different pieces of jewelry that were tested. I contacted Paparazzi support with the lab findings through an email saying I wanted to cancel being an active consultant because of false advertising that the jewelry was lead and nickel free. This jewelry put myself and my customers at risk. I received an email back from Paparazzi stating that their jewelry was compliant with California’s Prop 99. Paparazzi stated the jewelry was lead and nickel free. They would not send their lab tests. I had asked to do their buyback program were you send them the jewelry that is in its original packaging and they buy it back for a lesser amount. I was denied this option because Paparazzi stated that I had canceled being an active consultant and they don’t honor the buyback program once you are not a consultant. This is not stated in their policies and procedures. Paparazzi stated that they stand by their claims that their jewelry is nickel and lead free even though I had copies of the lab reports stating that the jewelry wasn’t. I am wanting to file a claim for False advertising and going against federal guidelines for safe levels of lead, nickel and cadmium and arsenic. This jewelry was sold throughout the US. I am also filing a claim for this company being a pyramid scheme because in all of their literature they stated how much money you could make and all the trainings were geared to buy & reinvest your earrings.if you work your business you will achieve success. I follow their business tips and did not achieve success but put myself in about$15,000 in debt. I have evidence that they advertised as lead and nickel free for years and I also have lab results showing the jewelry has high levels of lead, cadmium, nickel, and arsenic that are way above the allowed numbers in the green guide. I have suffered rashes and skin irritations from wearing this jewelry. I have also had symptoms of of being around high levels of lead and cadmium like chronic headaches, anemia and kidney issues. I can not provide evidence that these issues are from the exposure to the toxic metals but I am end stage renal failure and I don’t need to be exposed to these toxic metals. I invested i. This jewelry because it was labeled lead and nickel free.

The product, in the report: They are jewelry pieces that come in silver, gold, rose gold and gun metal black. They also use artificial leather and acrylic parts.

I was a Consultant for Paparazzi Jewelry from 1/3/18 to 12/16/21. I purchased over $140,000 in Jewelry from them over almost 5 years that was lead and nockel free. I came to fond out it contained way over the normal limits of cadmium, lead, nickel, arsenic!!! It was tested at [REDACTED]. The levels were so high they needed to collaborate the machine and dilute the sample to get a reading. I have had the jewelry turn my skin green and I feel irritation wearing the rings.
