The product, in the report: “THE AWAJÚN NAYA BEADED NECKLACE is a gorgeous boho chic eco necklace that energizes the heart chakra. This organic beaded necklace is a traditional design made by the Awajún artisans of Urakusa in the Peruvian Amazon. It is handmade with kumpia, wayampai, tuju seeds and accent color at the edge in red huayruro* or black chichao seeds. The name Naya was made up as a diminutive for the word “Nayainpinmak”, which means “Heaven” in the Awajún language. The huayruro* seed is a good luck seed. The red and black colors symbolize good fortune and abundance, as well as balance. The seeds are said to protect from negativity and bring happiness. Newborns and newlyweds often receive huayruro seeds as gifts for a happy and prosperous life. Kumpia, Wayampai, Huayruro, Chichao Seeds • Fishing thread for strength • Back closure with beaded loop in seeds • Handmade by Awajún Artisans • Imported: Peruvian Amazon • Organic • Vegan • Metal Free • Eco jewelry • Earth friendly fashion” WEBSITE: http://www.orgbyvio.com/shop/#!/~/product/category=2398135&id=18019823
I see jewelry being advertised online that has poisonous seeds from the Amazon incorporated all over it. There is no warning for children or adults. Here is the web page:

The red-and-black-colored poisonous seeds all over this jewelry are called “huayruro” seeds. They are indigenous to the Amazon areas of Peru. They are very poisonous. The advertisement encourages people to give these particular beads to BABIES. Here is the ad copy:
“The huayruro* seed is a good luck seed. The red and black colors symbolize good fortune and abundance, as well as balance. The seeds are said to protect from negativity and bring happiness. Newborns and newlyweds often receive huayruro seeds as gifts for a happy and prosperous life.”
They are poisonous. Nowhere on the page does it mention that they are poisonous.
