No one hurt Made May 4, 2017, sent to the company May 12, 2017, published by CPSC Jun 2, 2017
The product, in the report: Zutano baby fleece booties, 12-18 months. One gray and beige pair and one navy.
My then 14 month old son wore Zutano’s almost daily as he was not yet walking and it was cold. During the 2-3 month span he wore them, I noticed the “z”s on the bottom would wear off, or he would pick at them and tear them off easily. I was very careful to peel off the ones that looked worn, but he still was able to get them in his mouth. This posed a great choking hazard and I discontinued use of them. I purchased 2 pairs and felt my money was wasted.
