The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Sanuk Yoga Sandals

My daughter purchased a pair of Sanuk Yoga Mat Sandals from Kinnucans in Madison, AL on Saturday evening. She wore the sandals on Saturday evening. She woke up Sunday morning with a small rash on her neck. She wore the sandals most of the day on Sunday. She woke up with a tight throat, red feet, and a rash on her neck, back, and chest. My daughter is allergic to latex. We contacted the manufacturer. They stated that the yoga mat sandals do contain latex. The labeling did not state that the product contained latex. The company representative stated that he would bring it to the attention of management.

I have contact Kinnucans as well. The management team has not gotten back with me.

If a product contains latex and it is not labeled as such, the product could kill someone with a latex allergy.

My daughter has been treated with [REDACTED] and hydrocortisone cream. She has an appointment with the doctor, if the rash does not subside. Her throat has returned to normal size.
