Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: WonderKids brand shoes (boots). ABALENE 11204 TAN BABY 052849JUN13, SIZE 5, UPC 0 25634 19544 1.

I purchased WonderKids brand shoes (boots) at K-mart in Helena MT. The UPC on the shoes is 0 25634 19544 1, they are a size 5, ABALENE 11204 TAN BABY 052849JUN13. After wearing the shoes for a couple of days, my son got what at first looked like small scratches on the outsides of his legs at the top level of the shoes. The scratches ended up getting so large that my son got bleeding scrapes on his legs. After realizing that it was related to these shoes, upon closer inspection of the shoes, there is the hook side of the [fastener], which is badly sew over the tops of the shoes. It is this point, where the hook side of the [fastener] comes over the tops of the shoes that caused the sores on my sons legs.
