The product, in the report: WMN NIKE COURTLITE 3 Style 487996-414 BLUE Women’s Tennis Shoe UPC 00886691762553
Nike has been making defective shows for many years. They have caused me to not only fall on the tennis court but could have caused serious injuries due to they faulty construction. This is not only older shoes but some new shoes..and not heavily worn shoes .Some were only worn once or twice and the rubber sole has come apart from the rest of the shoe. ( I am happy to send pictures of nearly 12 pairs!)
Last year in February I alerted your Customer Service department about defective 599364 shoes! At that at time I sent them 2 pairs of shoes that they deemed to not be Nike’s fault. In addition , our representative seemed more than unconcerned about my safety or that of others while performing sports. His name was [REDACTED], Elite Services. In fact..I called him several months later and he never returned my phone call.
Since contacting your unhelpful representative in February I have had 3 additional pairs of the 599364, 2 of which had only been worn twice, and a pair of your 487996 after only 3 wears.
Not only is his extremely dangerous for falls and worse during play..but has now become very very costly! 599364. I now have 9 pairs! Which have fallen apart.
1) 599364- 607 pink worn 3 times…second pair bought 2) 487996-414 blue worn 3 times 3) 599364-410 blue only worn a few times Other pairs of 599364-106,607, 107,410,105 and 100 fell apart.
Sadly I have tried contacting Nike’s Executive office only to be thwarted away and not being able to speak to anyone..EVEN AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT. Nike seems to be not at all concerned with Customer Service or SAFETY! They should clearly be penalized for not only causing injuries, but for wearing “blinder’s” when it comes to their products defective construction. I have also contacted NIKE through the Better Business Bureau and not only would they not recognize their defects..but said they had no record of my email.?? I assured them that i had bought all of my shoes from Legitimate Nike Retailers so why would they have a record..since I did not buy on Nike.com. [REDACTED] who answered me..did not give me his last name and did not even recognize the defects of my over a dozen shoes..this is not only fraudulent to the public..but endangering the public.. a big company like Nike should accept responsibility.
