I was wearing a pair of hiking boots and just walking down the street. I took a hard fall to the ground when a speed lace hook from one boot got caught on a loop on the other boot. My feet were basically shackled together and I fell hard and tore some tendons on my right elbow. I have limited range of motion with that arm and I cannot use that hand very well. I did go to an orthopedic doctor who said I luckily didn’t break any bones. It seems this is a common occurrence with any boot that has speed lace hooks.
