The product, in the report: Under Armour Yard III metal cleats.
My 13 year old son has had the Under Armour Yard III metal baseball cleats for just over a month and has only used them for practice. Last night, the round rotator cleat broke completely off as he was walking across the field. This is a large plastic disk that is attached to the sole with four plastic tabs. The entire piece snapped off, leaving one side of the shoe 3/4” lower than the other. Had he been running full speed, there is no doubt that he would have gotten injured.
This looks to be a design flaw with the cleat as opposed to a fluke incident.
