Hurt, no treatment Made Mar 16, 2015, sent to the company Mar 23, 2015, published by CPSC Apr 13, 2015
The product, in the report: UGGAustralia Classic Mini Rock
I am a totally disabled federal retiree. After two weeks in ICU in October, I could not get shoes on my feet. I ordered several pairs of UGGAustralia boots. There was a sharp foreign body in between the leather and lining of the boot that cut my leg
Deckers, who is a worldwide multibillion dollar company overnighted me a letter cutting off all communication after I sent the boot back. I have 20 pairs. They are made in China and Vietnam. Several have hurt me.
They are now giving me trouble on refunds. A boot or shoe, in fact, NO clothing, should cut a person. I have a rare immune deficiency. I could have lost my leg. Because they sell so many, people need to be warned about this. I have a photo of the boot.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Mar 4, 2014, sent to the company May 6, 2014, published by CPSC May 20, 2014
The product, in the report: High heel platform shoes Deckers Outdoor Corporation
The adult consumer went out for a walk in her neighborhood with her high heels platform shoes (brand new/ first time used). As soon as the consumer came out of her house she felt that something was wrong. She felt like was losing her balance. When the consumer stepped on the sidewalk in front of her house she lost her balance and fell backwards and broke her wrist.
She went to the doctor the next day. The doctor confirmed she had a broken wrist and placed a cast on her wrist. The consumer feels that the design of the shoes is not safe because only a very small part of the sole touches the floor making them unstable. (date unknown) The consumer contacted the manufacturer and they opened an insurance claim and asked her to send pictures.
An insurance adjuster [REDACTED], Chubb Group Off Insurance Companies, came late in November 2013 and took pictures of the heels and the consumer’s wrist and provided the consumer with a claim number [REDACTED].
In January 2014 (estimated) the insurance company sent a letter saying that there was nothing wrong with the shoes and denied the claim.
The shoes are swaying up and down. The platform is touching the floor or ground only for 1.2 inch. The rest of the platform is curved up. The shhoes are unstable, not flexible.
The consumer was badly injured because of Celestina shoes with improper design platform. The consumer strongly believes this kind of shoe has defect in design! The consumer also tries to protect consumers from injury!
