The product, in the report: Work boots The numbers on the tag attached to the boot are as follows: ASTMF2413-05 M l / 75 C / 75 EH ANSI Z41 PT99
I was climbing a ladder on a fire escape wearing Timberland Pro line steel toe work boots.I was approx. 5 feet off the ground when the ladder came loose. As my toes landed on the pavement the force of the impact caused my toes to bend back. The back edge of the steel insert crushed three bones in my foot. The front of the boot acted like a guiatine when bent backward. 5 feet is not a long drop and the damage caused by the boot was severe. The design is poor and the boots are dangerous in events that involve a fall or jumping.
