No one hurt Made Jul 20, 2013, sent to the company Jul 29, 2013, published by CPSC Aug 19, 2013
The product, in the report: Joanna girl’s sandal, Striderite
I purchased white kid’s sandal for my child last year from Striderite. The name of the sandal is Joanna and has little silver flower on the side. One of the flowers immediately fell off and made us very sad for not being able to use the sandals. We even took it to a shoe repair place which was unable to fix it. I almost forgot about it until I saw the recall information and was reminded of it. The sandals otherwise were very comfortable but pricey for such a defect.

No one hurt Made Jun 15, 2013, sent to the company Jun 24, 2013, published by CPSC Jul 16, 2013
The product, in the report: Stride Rite “Joanna” girls shoes, size 1.5M
Small metal flowers on Stride Rite Joanna girls shoes have detached. During the course of normal wear, the small metal flowers on my daughters shoes have fallen off. The first occurrence happened just a couple of weeks after purchase. The flowers pose a choking hazard to my younger children. I understand that these shoes have been recalled in sizes 8.5 - 10. However, my daughter’s shoes are size 1.5 and have exactly the same problem. Why aren’t the same shoes in larger sizes being recalled as well?
