The product, in the report: Couture Collection Pediped Roman Sandal, Aurelia Silver

I recently purchased a brand new, in the box, pair of The Couture Collection Pediped Roman sandals from Ebay. My granddaughter wore them for the first time on 3/16/12. We always remove her shoes when she naps, but leave her socks on. On the morning of 3/17/12, she layed down for her morning nap. Thankfully I was in the room when she awoke, but she continued to play in her bed for a few minutes. I heard her cough and then it was apparent she was choking. I ran and picked her up, immediately put my finger in her mouth and pulled out a clear label from her mouth in the back of her throat. It was apparent it was a label from a shoe, but I could not immediately identify which shoe. I also found another label of the same type, but with different writing, rolled up and stuck to the mattress protector in her bed. I looked at all her shoes and could not find any labels to match the ones I found. I looked at the pediped boxes to see if there were any warnings or notices of the labels and found none. After examining several pairs of her pedipeds, I found the same exact label still attached inside the heel portion of the left Couture Collection Pediped Roman sandal. It appears the label probably “rolled” down when she was wearing the shoe and stuck to her socks, without being noticed, when she wore the shoes on 3/16/12 and then came off the sock and stuck to something in her bed. I did not find a label similar to the second one that was stuck to the mattress cover anywhere on the left shoe; therefore, we are diligently searching to make sure it is not in her bed somewhere. The box the shoes came in is a hard gold colored box, with a clear front and a paper showing different colored roman sandals. There is a tag on the side of the box that reads: 870-SV X-Small, Aurelia Silver, 0-6 months. There is a bar code with number: 8 45149 00622 9. One tag that came off (the one in her mouth reads) Designed in USA, Made in China, 0-6 months/US2.5-3.5/EU17-18, Patent Pending. TLC, All leather upper, lining and sole. The tag I found rolled up shows a drawing of three shoes, with arrows pointing to the top, inside and sole of the shoe (indicating the all leather).
