The product, in the report: covers for shoes to help with ice (small in size)
The consumer used the product [shoe grips] once in the Spring 2019, without any issues.
The consumer tried using the grips today, but she was not secure. She slipped several times and nearly fell, but did not. The consumer was not injured.
She believes that these grips may give people a false sense of security, which could cause the user to fall and suffer an injury.
The product has a lifetime warranty and fit her boots fine, but ice can get packed together underneath and this could cause or contribute to a fall. The consumer said that she almost fell immediately, while wearing the grips. She said she had to use a screw driver to remove the clogs of ice that built up in the grips.
The consumer removed the grips and said that she felt much more secure shoveling her driveway without the use of these items.
