The product, in the report: Nike Superfly 6 Elite FG Firm-Ground Soccer Cleat - size 6.5M - Orange and White

Defective Nike soccer cleats could cause serious injury. The glue that holds the heel cleat to the upper is faulty and separates. This could cause anyone using the cleat to severely damage their ankle. Attached are pictures of two pairs of Nike cleats that have the same defective issue (each under a few months old). As you can see, if a child or adult were playing soccer in these and the heel separates, this would cause the ankle to roll and could cause major damage to the user’s ankles and tibia. These cleats are dangerous and Nike should recall or at the very least, stop selling this dangerous product.

The product, in the report: WMNS NIKE AIR VAPOR ADVANTAGE BLUE Model 599364-410 BLUE UPC 00884497557700

Nike has been making defective shows for many years. I fell on the Tennis Court as the Blue NIKE shoes I was wearing style number 599364-410 sole became detached from the shoe.. I have enclose pictures of trying to glue the shoes after the incident as they are over $ 100 each. You can see the glue and you can also see the shoes were hardly worn more than 2-3 times! and this is about the 9th pair that was defective! ( picture attatched) Based on this injury I saw Dr. [REDACTED] in Boca Raton an Orthopedic Doctor on February 23, 2021. The XRAYS determined that i had Hamstring Injury and issues that I needed to go to Physical Therapy. and get more MRI’s. I also saw Dr.[REDACTED] In Delray Beach Florida to address the Pain. I began Physical Therapy ( attatched) on March 10, 2021 until today May 11, 2021. I also saw Dr. [REDACTED] a top Orthopedic Surgeon in Boca Raton about this issue. They have caused me to not only fall on the tennis court but could have caused serious injuries due to they faulty construction. This is not only older shoes but some new shoes..and not heavily worn shoes .Some were only worn once or twice and the rubber sole has come apart from the rest of the shoe. ( I am happy to send pictures of nearly 12 pairs!) Last year in February 2020 I alerted Nike Customer Service department about defective 599364 shoes! At that at time I sent them 2 pairs of shoes that they deemed to not be Nike’s fault. In addition , our representative seemed more than unconcerned about my safety or that of others while performing sports. His name was [REDACTED], [REDACTED]. In fact..I called him several months later and he never returned my phone call. Since contacting your unhelpful representative in February I have had 3 additional pairs of the 599364, 2 of which had only been worn twice, and a pair of your 487996 after only 3 wears. Not only is his extremely dangerous for falls and worse during play..but has now become very very costly! 599364. I now have 9 pairs! Which have fallen apart. 1) 599364- 607 pink worn 3 times…second pair bought 2) 487996-414 blue worn 3 times 3) 599364-410 blue only worn a few times Other pairs of 599364-106,607, 107,410,105 166, 100 fell apart. Sadly I have tried contacting Nike’s Executive office only to be thwarted away and not being able to speak to anyone..EVEN AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT. Nike seems to be not at all concerned with Customer Service or SAFETY! This is the third shoe complaint i have entered..even though i have an additional 10 pairs of Defective Nike Shoes I am happy to send pictures of. I had mentioned that I did contact the BBB about Nike and they responded that they had no record of me purchasing their shoes. That was a dreadful excuse as I did not in fact purchase them from Nike.com..but from their many Legitimate Worldwide retailers! They NEVER EVEN addressed the DEFECTS of their shoes!! Nike is not only stealing our money..but endangering our lifes with their defective products. It is no COINCIDENCE that over 12 pairs of their shoes have come apart making me fall and barely avoid serious injuries.

Submitter contacted an advice nurse and they informed her to keep the foot elevated and to soak her foot to help with the swelling.

Submitter contacted the firm and they informed her that the shoes are not supposed to be worn to an amusement part because they are foam fitting. Caller indicated that the firm was rude when speaking with her about the situation.

The product, in the report: Nike Flex Trainer 4 Wide Cross-Trainers

My boyfriend purchased a pair of Nike Shoes for me for my birthday on Dec 15, 2015. On March 6th, 2015 I contacted Nike Corporate to inform them of a defect on the bottom of the shoe. The shoe has little triangular designs on the bottom and the adhesive that held them on was coming off and they were rolling under causing me to trip. I wore these shoe strictly in my office, never exercised in them or did anything to cause them to come apart. “[REDACTED]” from corporate treated me very unfair. He stated I needed to ship the product to Nike and cover the cost of shipping, then Nike would determine whether it was MY fault or a product defect. I asked “[REDACTED]” if there was a consumer email address that I could email photos to since I myself, and everyone I spoke to knew it was a product defect and he stated they didn’t have that technology , a multi-million/billion dollar company doesn’t have that technology? I tripped several times from the triangles rolling under. Luckily, I’m in fairly young with decent balance and wasn’t running in the shoes. If someone was running or using these shoes for exercise (i.e. on the treadmill) and had the same defect it could cause them a lot of harm and or injury. I think Nike Corporate should have taken initiative to resolve my issue before it came to this but someone could seriously get injured. The product # is 643088-001, Nike Flex Trainer Wide Cross Trainers (size 8.5) . These are made for exercising. Someone could get seriously hurt with these defects!

The product, in the report: Full Length Nike Air Running Shoe. The arch underneath the shoe is made of a hard plastic.

On November 29, 2012, I slipped off my side porch, dislocated and broke my right ankle in three places. It is a very serious injury, and I am just now (April 3rd) driving and walking slowly with a small walking cast. Needless to say, it was a pretty rough holiday and winter season. I couldn’t, at first, figure out what happened, as it was not wet or icy and I never rush when leaving the house. I thought I would never really know what caused me to fall, until I started questioning myself again. When I remembered back to the day I fell, I thought maybe the arch of my foot may have been too far over the porch step...that’s the only thing that made sense to me, so I started looking at the porch (which was safe) and the shoe. What I found totally shocked me. The arch under the running shoe is made of a hard plastic, unlike the rest of the bottom, which is rubber and has traction. This plastic is hard and slippery. I went over to the porch step and, basically, took a careful step to reenact the fall. My foot went flying off the step, and I am certain this is what caused me to fall. This running shoe is extremely dangerous. Imagine what could happen if a person fell down a long flight of stairs. I am not looking for anything, except to have Nike remake their shoes without this very dangerous plastic arch under it. Sincerely, [REDACTED]

The product, in the report: nike lebron IX, miami vice size 4c. The color is wolf grey and teal

One evening I took my 5 month old son to a game. I decided to put on his brand new nike lebron sneakers that I had just purchased. I put his socks and shoes on and we went to the game. I carried him the whole evening because he was unable to walk. Later that night I noticed a severe blister on the bottom of his great toe and bruise marks on his heels and across the top of his foot where the elastic had been rubbing. I immediately rushed him to the ER and he was checked out. The doctor prescribed him with antibiotics for the blisters.

I have had the Pylori bacteria the doctor finally cleared up. The swelling in my body continued with a rash breakout on my neck and head and private areas. When she finally asked me if I wore undergarments with Spandex, I had no this was causing such havoc in my recovery. I always was hot and sweaty this last 6 years.

Just 3 days after I bought [REDACTED] undergarment and stopped wearing my Nike’ flip flops I have had such relief.

I have suffered for the past 6 year; please this product needs to be removed from our daily wear.

Thank you [REDACTED] for your time.

The product, in the report: Flip flops

I had chronic hives for 13 months before finding that it was caused from my [REDACTED] memory foam mattress. I was then sold a [REDACTED] spring mattress, which also caused hives. After talking to [REDACTED] on the phone, it was determined that the common product was visco elastic, which is the memory foam. The spring mattress also contained a layer of memory foam, or visco elastic. I feel like it is the visco elastic, and not the fire retardent material, because I was just given some Nike flip flops, which also contains 8mm of memory foam in them. I broke out from them also, and I would guess that they don’t contain a fire retardant product, although that is just a guess.
