The product, in the report: Mudpie brand baby shoes; pink leather with a white bow at the heel and an elastic Mary Jane strap with beads on it.
Last year I puchased a pair of Mudpie brand baby shoes. These shoes are pink leather with a white bow at the heel and an elastic Mary Jane strap with beads on it. They have never been worn by my baby. Today, my 8 month old baby pulled at the elastic strap and it broke immediately. The beads fell off the strap. I thought I cleaned them all up, but she managed to choke on one of them. She choked on it but eventually swallowed. I immediately took her to the doctor and she was fine, thank God. But this could have been MUCH worse, and the bead could have gotten stuck in her esophagus, if she was smaller. In fact, the shoes are a size 0-6 months. This hazardous product could kill a smaller baby.
