The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Aug 22, 2012, sent to the company Oct 11, 2012, published by CPSC Oct 25, 2012

The product, in the report: Infant Shoes, sold for $14.99

Caller purchased infant shoes from nearby retailer. Infant wore the shoes in the car and when we returned home and took them off her foster daughter, she noticed a tag that should have been sewn in with consumer unable to dislodge. Tag was starting to pull away.

She barely tugged at it and it came off very easily.

She is reporting this instance stating that if she had not been the one to see the tag and tug it then the 7 month baby may have seen it and choked on it, or pulled it off completely in the car.

She would like for these shoes to be recalled for strangulation hazard

The product, in the report: Ministar Baby Shoe by Bobux, the design is “Sport.” The shoe is blue and white with white laces and it is a size 0-6 month.

My six month old son was wearing Ministar Baby Shoes by Bobux, sold at Target. He grabbed a hold of the white string, designed to look like laces, and pulled the string entirely out of the shoe. He attempted to put it into his mouth, but I was able to take it from him before he could.
