The product, in the report: Levis Black Shoes for men
Levi Strauss & Co. Attn: Customer Relations 1155 Battery Street San Francisco, CA 94111
Dear Levi Strauss & Co.,
I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding a recent experience I had with one of your products. I recently purchased a pair of black Levis-branded shoes from a Ross Dress for Less store. Unfortunately, after wearing the shoes during a rainy day, I suffered a severe allergic skin reaction and physical injuries due to dye bleeding from the shoes.
The dye not only stained my feet but also penetrated the skin on the soles of my feet and fingers, causing painful irritation, confusion, and emotional distress. The reaction was so severe that I had to seek emergency medical attention. This unexpected exposure caused significant anguish and confusion, especially as I was unaware that such a reaction could occur from simply wearing shoes.
As a consumer, I trusted that your brand would uphold high standards for product safety and quality. This incident has not only impacted my physical health but has also shaken my confidence in your products. Since these shoes were manufactured in China cause they have made in “China” tag, I suspect these dyes are probably toxic and harmful. Who knows what Chinese manufacturers use to dye these shoes, but I certainly will seek help to open an investigation by the consumer protection board.
I urge your team to investigate this matter seriously and thoroughly. I would appreciate knowing if there have been similar reports, and whether you are taking steps to ensure this does not happen to other customers. Additionally, I am seeking information on how to move forward regarding the harm caused, including potential compensation for medical expenses and related damages.
Please advise on the next steps, and I would appreciate a timely and thoughtful response. I am including photos of the injuries and medical documentation for your review, should you require them. Pictures attached.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely, [REDACTED]
