The product, in the report: Men’s size 8.5 D ASICS Kayano 27, color is red and the defect that injured me is in the toe box of the shoe.
It may be to late, but I need to report that men’s ASICS Kayano 27 running shoe injured me due to a undeniable defect in the toe box. I still have the 2 pair and am willing to send them anywhere if proof is needed about the defect. I contacted the company(multiple times) offering the shoes back so they could investigate the defect and asked for replacements, all of which was denied AND they made libelous statements about me to my credit card company when I disputed the charge. I say it may be to late because they are already on 2 versions past the 27’s but nonetheless if a recall can be started, at least the company would have to face making a defective product that may injure consumers AND make it right. For the record, I am not someone that makes a claim like this lightly, I’m a retired U.S. Marine Master Sergeant who has been running for over 40 years and mostly in ASICS, so I don’t have something against this company other than their unwillingness to honor their warranty(completely subjective and NOT consumer friendly) for a product that the defect can’t be denied.
