The product, in the report: isotoner easyComfort Large, 8.5-9, Womens desert sage open toe slippers

I purchased new slippers at Kohls this morning, isotoner ecocomfort LG 8.5-9 desert sage womens open toe slippers. I cut off the tags and put on the slippers. I went to walk away and as soon as my left toes hit the ground I felt an intense pain and quickly shifted weight off that foot. I checked my toe and I wasnt bleeding and nothing was in/on my toe, fortunately it was the side of my toe that the object pushed against. Because the slipper padding is so thick I couldn’t see the problem, I began to push the padding down and pierced my finger and found a sharp shiny metal object poking through the bottom and into the slipper. I attempted to use pliers to remove the small piece now sticking out the bottom, but it was tightly in place. When I folded the sole it began to pop out more and I was able to retrieve it with the pliers, to find a 1 inch silver hooked end item, that appears to be broken, potentially a broken threading needle or something of that sort to manufacture the slipper. I feel very lucky that it only grazed me, because with the pointed end toward my foot, any other position and weight, it would have gone into my foot.
