Hurt, no treatment Made Jul 30, 2016, sent to the company Aug 8, 2016, published by CPSC Aug 22, 2016
The product, in the report: Tennis shoes with running lights built into shoe bottoms. In the top of shoe inside at ankle level you have on and off switches with the charging system as well.
My daughter plugged her shoes (hoverkicks) into the electric outlet in her room on July 20, 2016 before she went to bed like she always did, however that night we were all woken up by our fire alarms that night apparently the shoe chargers had caught fire and cause minor damage to her bedroom floor and wall but could have been so much worse, a lot worse. My family could have paid the ultimate price for this company’s negligence.
