Am writing to let you into my experience with guess women’s laureta wedge sandals. I bought this sandals from Amazon online store on September 25th 2019. I wore my guess sandals for the first time on the 29th of October 2019, I had done less than 25 steps from my room, just about 5 steps down my staircase when I lost balance all of a sudden because the sandal’s grip was ill fitted, my leg twisted. I fall and my ankle fractured badly.
I had surgery and implant to repair my broken ankle and bones. I spent my Christmas and New Year on my back and am still counting because am yet to step my right leg. The surgery cost me over $15,000. and am still spending on drugs. My next appointment to the hospital is on the 6th of March 2020. As it is now , am left with life changing injury due to this product.
This product is made without buckle. Just an ankle strap, it isn’t enough for such adult wedge heels. I love guess brands and will continue to buy but this particular one has left me with disability. I may not be able to drive , trek and stand for long anymore. Kindly review this brand and its safety. .
