The product, in the report: Donald J Pliner sato wedge shoes Black platform wedge sandals with elastic straps

I wore the shoes yesterday and noticed the straps were very stretchy elastic. my feet would slide out of the shrew austin. I ended up falling twice on gravel immediately to the shoes off because I was already read not safe to in on gravel or on a flat surface.

The product, in the report: Donald J. Pliner sandals. Cissy.

I purchased a pair of Donald J Pliner sandals in June, 2011 @ Nordstrom Rack in Friendship Hts. I wore them several times and developed an itchy burning rash in streaks that correspond with where the top of my foot makes contact with the straps on the sandals.

I tried putting cortisone on the rash and it didn’t work. I am discontinuing use of the sandals hoping that the rash goes away on its own.

Two days ago I sent an e-mail to the Donald J. Pliner customer service link. I received an e-mail back saying nobody else complained ... take it up with Nordstrom. I wrote them back saying that they should check the safety of their product. And instead of passing the buck and blowing me off they should concern themselves with the outcome and safety. I advised that they pass it on to their risk management team, as it was obvious the person writing me didn’t understand the legal ramifications... or care to mitigate.

I went into Nordstrom Rack today and showed the store manager my feet. He agreed that it was the sandals and offered to let me return the sandals. I told him I wanted to hang on to them in case the rash does not resolve on its own. That I don’t have insurance and if the sandals have some kind of chemical that burned my feet or makes me need medical attention at my expense (I don’t have insurance) that I need them as evidence. I let him know that if the feet get better on their own I will return the sandals. He gave me his card and will wait for the outcome. They have a liberal return policy. But it’s not the return that is the issue. It is the injury they caused. And why.

I have pictures of my feet with the sandals. And I saved the e-mails to/from the company. The rash started after I started wearing them and I have had the rash for over a month.
