  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 8, 2026, sent to the company Jan 16, 2026, published by CPSC Feb 6, 2026

The product, in the report: Ugg Greenport Strap Suede Slide Sandals. Womens size 10 medium. Color: Chestnut.

I purchased the Ugg Greenport Strap Slides on I 11/11/2025. I was wearing the shoes in my home for about 3-4 days when one day my right foot slipped to one side inside the bed of the shoe and folded at my ankle. That frightened me, but I thought it was an isolated incident. The next day I had them on walking through my house and my foot slipped again on that elevated, slippery footbed and rolled outward onto my ankle. That hurt, and I was afraid to wear them after that day. The side walls are flimsy straps attached to a really high cliff of a sole. They are still new so I called Ugg, they emailed a form with instructions to ship them to California so they could issue a credit. I boxed them, paid $25 for a label, and shipped them. They shipped them back to me siting Out of Warranty because there was not an itemized receipt in the box. I contacted the company again via chat, and I was advised to resubmit the via email and they have been back and forth with me since then. Ive requested a manager several times and cannot get a manager to talk to me. I followed all of the provided instructions and they have not taken seriously the danger of this shoe. The name and description of this shoe is misguiding. When I contacted the company via Chat, telephone, and email my concerns have been dismissed and disregarded. The shoes pose a serious risk of injury or fall.
